Army School Bareilly Cantt was founded on 08 July 1987 up to class viii with 100 students. The school got its affiliation with CBSE in March 1989. Further, the first batch of class X passed out in 1991. The school was upgraded to class 11th in 1991 and 12th in 1992. Humanities in class 11th was introduced in the year 2002. The school is running at 3 different locations – primary wing, middle wing, & senior wing. During the year 2002, new lab complex (Bhabha Block) and administrative building (Radhakrishnan Block) were constructed.

Admission Criteria

 

The academic session begins on 1st April of every year. Priority is given to the child of serving Army Personnel,  Assam rifles, Army war windows, etc. Duly completed application form should be submitted to the APS School office on or before the prescribed date. Late submission of the application form will not be entertained.

Civilian Children will be given admission/registration, only if seats are vacant. Merit is the main criterion for the admission of civilians on a role model concept. Admission test will be held whenever it is applicable.

Documents Required

(i) Transfer certificate from the School last attended duly attested by an Edn Officer of the state.
(ii) Character Certificate.
(iii) Birth certificate.
(iv) Marks Sheet/Progress Report.
(v) Two recent passport size photographs.
(vi) Migration Certificate (if from Boards other than CBSE).

Note: Incomplete admission/registration forms in any respect will be rejected.

Change In Date Of Birth

 

Once recorded, the change in date of birth will not be accepted.

 

Late Fees

 

If fees are not paid by the due date, late fees will be charged as under:-

(i) Up to 20th of the current month – Rs 20/-
(ii) Up to 1 month – Rs 50/-
(iii) Up to 2 months – Rs 100/-
(iv) Up to 3 months – Rs 150/-

 

If fees and fine are not paid for 3 consecutive months, the name of the candidates will be struck off the rolls.
