Tashi Namgyal Academy is an autonomous English-medium co-educational and residential-cum-day public school in Gangtok. The school provides the largest school campus in the whole state measuring about 12 acres of the total area. It is marked by two main gates- the upper gate and the lower main gate with additional two entrance points.

The campus comprises a football ground, swimming pool, Principal’s bungalow, staff quarters, two hostels for boys, a multi-storied hostel for girls including hostel staff quarters, one kitchen, and the hotel mess. It also has a large auditorium with a capacity of more than 500 people including a gallery. There are more than seven buildings for classrooms, a science block comprising laboratories, common rooms, and an administrative block.

TNA is undoubtedly the best public school in the whole state of Sikkim.
