Army Public School PRTC
The School (Army Public School, PRTC) under Welfare Education Society has been founded with effect from 01 April 2012, after closing down the erstwhile Parachute Regiment School. the school (APS, PRTC) is affiliated to CBSE course vide affiliation Number 830052. The aim of the school is to enable the children of defense personnel to receive a quality education, in spite of frequent transfers. Admission of civilian candidates, subject to the availability of seats, is a privilege accorded by the Army field as part of its social responsibility.

Conditions for Admission
1. Parents are requested NOT TO BE GUIDED by any person or agencies who promise admissions at Army Public School PRTC, Bangalore.
2. Please contact the Principal for any inquiries regarding admissions. Please do not fall prey to any agent for admission to the school. Admissions will be given purely on the basis of Merit class, irrespective of any recommendations

Priorities of Admission
# The priorities for admission subject to availability of seats will be as under:
# Children serving Army personnel (including DSC), children of Army Widows and children of that TA personnel who have a minimum of 5 years embodied service.
# Children of Army Ex-Army personnel retired/invalided out on medical grounds with a pension, DSC personnel retired with a pension from DSC.
# Children of serving Air Force, Naval and Coast Guard Personnel.
# Children of retired Air Force, Naval and Coast Guard Personnel.
# Children of ex-Army personnel who left the Army with less than 10 years of service and not categorized as ESM.
# Children of civilians paid out of Defence Estimates Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), MES, GREF, TA (when not embodied) Grandchildren of serving / retired Army Personnel.
Age Criteria
(i) For admission to Class, The student should have completed under-mentioned years of age on 31 March of the year in which admission is sought
(ii) Date of Birth once recorded in the school register will not be changed.
Admission Criteria
Academic Session is from April to March. Entrance exam t & Interview will be conducted for the students. The following documents are required at the time of admission and registration :
1. Birth Certificate in Original.
2. Transfer certificate from the previous school with the Attestation of the Block Education Officer in case of a different state.
3. Two recent Passport size photographs.
4. One recent group photo of parent and their child seeking Admission
